New experiences
New technology is exciting long before anyone knows what it's for. The business model, the audience and the creative language are still taking shape. That's the part I love, and usually where I do my best work.
I've spent my career turning up just before the future does. I sold mobile phones before most people thought they needed one, then joined the early internet service providers, telling businesses that email was about to change how they worked, usually to a room that didn't believe it yet. That pattern has stayed with me: get there early, make the case, and help people see why it matters.
From there I went into rooms built for sound. I spent five years at the AIR Studios group, including Strongroom, where I joined the board, set up its post-production facility and ran branded sessions for Nokia, MTV and Virgin. After that, The Hospital Club and the MOBO Awards. It left me with a lasting respect for craft, collaboration and what sound can make you feel.
Next came immersive tech, at Disney-backed Jaunt and at REWIND. At UNIT9 I helped build two new businesses from scratch: the Metaverse Advisory Department and Attractions by UNIT9. That meant working out the proposition, finding the clients and partners, and hiring the people to deliver it.
Today I'm Partner and Head of Growth at Astral City, connecting commercial strategy, creative ambition and technical possibility across AI, spatial computing and the devices coming next.
Outside work, I'm usually listening to something, cooking something over fire or getting distracted by a new idea.

What I believe.
Have an interesting problem?
I'm always up for meeting people who are building something new, exploring an unfamiliar medium or trying to turn an ambitious idea into a real business.
Let's talk.
